Visiting the Rzeszowskie Piwnice
Rzeszowskie Piwnice is an underground tourist route stretching under the Market Square, 396 m long. Here you will learn about the history of the city and the rooms where articles were stored and stored, including: barrels with wine, beer and mead.
It is a multi-sensory route with multimedia stations and filled with sounds.
Quiet visiting hours
On the second Wednesday of the month from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. there are Quiet Visiting Hours in Rzeszowskie Piwnice. They are aimed at highly sensitive people, those on the autism spectrum and all those who seek peace in a cultural institution.
Quiet hours involve individual visits to the underground with the sound turned off in the multi-functional space and along the entire route. The tour is preceded by a short introduction by the guide. Visiting time is approximately 40 minutes. Entries take place at an interval of 40 minutes – 4:00p.m., 4:40 p.m, 5:20 p.m, 6:00 p.m. Groups of maximum 10 people.
Dates of quiet visiting hours in 2023/2024: November 8th, December 13th, January 10th, February 14th, March 13th, April 10th, May 8th, June 12th.
Organized groups / Schools
During Quiet Hours, it is possible to organize a guided tour after prior reservation. Thanks to this, we will adapt the passage to the individual needs of visitors. We recommend sightseeing in smaller groups, maximum 6 people + guardians. The group is accompanied by a guide.
