The sightseeing path is intended for people who appreciate the traditional way of sightseeing. The scenario of this variant exhausts the historical knowledge to a greater extent and puts emphasis on the story about Rzeszowskie Piwnice themselves. This variant assumes the use of multimedia to present the history and heritage of Rzeszów.

The story begins with the origin of the city’s name, archaeological findings, legends and stories about people living in these areas in prehistory. Then, visitors will learn about the politics of Casimir the Great- disputes and alliances with neighbours in the fourteenth century (relations with Lithuanians, Ruthenia Halicka, Hungary), i.e. the period when Rzeszów received city rights. The figure of Jan Pakosławic will be presented and his missions to the Golden Horde, Lithuania and Avignon. There will be a journey into history and the heritage of our city, including the several hundred years of ruling the city by the Rzeszowski Family and other families ruling Rzeszów until the city was sold by the Lubomirski Family in the mid-nineteenth century. The city to a large extent had to resist the attacks of invaders, which for centuries were the Tatars, and the private wars characteristic of these regions, e.g. wars for fairs between Mikołaj Spytek Ligęza and Stanisław "the Devil" Stadnicki, the Bar Confederation and “outside" achievements, such as the participation of Lubomirski in the Relief of Vienna. The military history of Rzeszów will be presented. Visitors will get familiar with the topographical defensive values of the castle town founded on the Wisłok River and the later city fortifications. They will also learn the history of the Rzeszów Castle. They will know outstanding Rzeszów citizens who have played significant roles in various armed conflicts over the centuries (including Hieronim Augustyn Lubomirski, Leopold Lis-Kula, Władysław Sikorski, and Stanisław Maczek).

Visitors will understand the phenomenon of tolerance of the inhabitants, learn about the characteristic themes of the main religions present in the city: Christianity, Orthodoxy and Judaism, and get to know many legends and stories, the most important events in the history of the city. They will visit characteristic places from those times: a fabric shop, an inn and a colonial shop. When leaving the fair, visitors will encounter two important events from the mid-nineteenth century. The first will be the great fire of Rzeszów (1842), which devastated the city and at the same time contributed to the reconstruction in accordance with modern fire protection principles. The fire serves as a pretext for the story of Ignacy Łukasiewicz, whose inventions revolutionized the methods of lighting cities and houses and laid the foundations for the modern oil industry.
Visitors will also find multimedia islands discussing, among others: plans for the creation of Centralny Okręg Przemysłowy, post-war industry in Rzeszów (aviation, an interactive replica of a jet engine), cultural achievements of people associated with the city, sports achievements.
